When she is not supporting clients and the Top Tails team behind the scenes, she works as an Ophthalmic Assistant and enjoys traveling.

Sarah knows how important it is to have reliable care while away and is committed to providing every family with attentive, trustworthy service.

Outside of her work with Top Tails, Tracie enjoys trivia nights and gardening with her husband.

Shaina holds a master’s degree in animal physiology from Mississippi State University and works at the North Carolina Zoo, where she supports the care of a wide range of species. She has always been surrounded by animals and brings both academic and hands-on experience to every visit.

At home, Shaina shares life with two dogs, one cat, and a toad, and was drawn to join Top Tails after seeing their thoughtful and detailed care provided to her own pets.

Sarah recently graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in environmental biology and plans to pursue a master’s in entomology. She has cared for a range of pets over the years, including her current companions—blue death feigning beetles.

Sarah enjoys spending time outside and looks forward to getting to know your pets and keeping them comfortable while you are away.

Originally from the Midwest, Lou has called Greensboro home for the past five years and enjoys hiking, fishing, swimming, and exploring the local arts scene. Lou works as a university advisor by day and shares a home with four very pampered cats.

With experience caring for a wide variety of animals—dogs, cats, goats, reptiles, horses, and birds—Lou makes sure each pet is happy and healthy during visits.

Outside of her conservation efforts, Christine enjoys cooking, playing pickleball, and hiking.

Benjamin is a retired educator who recently relocated from Raleigh to Greensboro, bringing with him experience as a pet sitter in the Raleigh area. As the proud dog dad of two tiny Yorkies, he understands the importance of dependable, compassionate care.

Benjamin is happy to be part of the Top Tails team and looks forward to supporting fellow pet parents when they need a helping hand.

Maddie is a Greensboro native and a Biology major at NC State, helping out with Top Tails during school breaks and summers. She also works as a lifeguard and loves spending time outdoors with her two labs, Mac and Goose.

Whether it is hiking a local trail or caring for pets at home, Maddie brings a calm and caring presence to every visit.

April recently relocated to Greensboro from Ohio with her husband and three children. While in Ohio, she started a program at her church to raise and care for laying hens, combining her love of animals with hands-on care.

April enjoys gardening and brings a calm, nurturing presence to each pet she visits.

Team Member

Bethany recently moved to Greensboro from South Carolina and is enjoying getting to know the city’s parks, trails, and coffee spots. She earned her degree from the University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counseling and Rehabilitation through USC’s remote program.

The photo shows her with her childhood dog, Molly, who was her constant companion growing up and sparked her love of animals. In her free time, Bethany enjoys crocheting and creating gifts for friends and family.
