3. Use Our Online System - easily schedule services, update pet and home information and receive our post visit reports with our online system.

Are you insured and bonded?We are fully insured and bonded thru Pet Sitters Associates for your protection.

How will I know you visited my cat?You’ll receive a text and email notification when we arrive, and at the end of our visit, we’ll send detailed feedback through the app. This includes a checklist of completed tasks, photos, and notes on how the visit went, along with any additional updates. If you have any questions, our pet sitting app makes it easy to communicate with both the office and your cat sitter. We’ve streamlined everything for your convenience!

What if my cat hides during the visit?It’s perfectly normal for some cats to be shy, and if they prefer to hide while we're there, your cat sitter will sit quietly, as sometimes that’s all it takes to build trust. Our cat sitters make every effort to visually check on your cats during each visit to ensure they’re safe and well. If we’re unable to locate your cat, we’ll confirm their well-being by checking the litter box and noting the amount of food and water they’ve consumed.

Do I get to meet my cat sitter?One of the advantages of hiring Top Tails is our dedicated team-based approach, ensuring seamless care even in case of emergencies, with backup team members ready to step in if needed. At the meet and greet, one of our managers will personally visit to get to know your cat and review their care routine with you. Once your services are scheduled, our team will follow your preferences to provide care tailored specifically for your cat.

Do you require that cats be visited at least once a day?Yes, daily visits are crucial for a cat’s safety and well-being. Even though cats can be independent, unexpected situations can happen, like getting trapped in a closet or tangled in a curtain. Our daily visits ensure that we catch these issues quickly and can provide assistance if needed. We also check for any signs of stress, illness, or changes in behavior and ensure they have fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. Even if your cat is shy, our consistent presence helps keep them safe and reassured until you return.

What is your cancellation policy?We’re dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your pets while keeping our scheduling efficient and reliable. Our cancellation policy applies to the total reservation invoice. If you need to cancel vacation care visits, please notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a fee of 50% of the reserved pet sitting amount. A credit for the remaining balance will be issued, valid for use within six months.
